A dysfunctional family is forced begrudgingly into an instant reunion when they have to move their father's grave due to construction. Hye-yeong receives a letter of notification that her father's grave should be forcibly removed due to modernization projects. Hye-yeong and the sisters are gathered in a long time, but only the brother cannot be reached easily.

Thirteen-year-old Daniel lives with his older brother and terminally ill father in a village plagued by rural exodus. There, the young people live their lives between rare bus stops, xenophobia, unemployment, illegal dog fights and chemical intoxicants, among other things. Daniel stands between childhood and adolescence, and in the face of the indifference and stagnation of his surroundings, he becomes the victim of inhuman conditions that force him into a painful loneliness.

In the 1990s, when Go gambling fever swept Korea, Gui-su loses everything because his father gambled obsessively until there was nothing left. Left all alone in the world, Gui-su meets a mentor and Go teacher, Il-do, and goes through vicious training to become the grandmaster of Go. He sets out for revenge on the world that destroyed his life, but soon finds himself chased by an unknown loner pursuing his own vendetta.

Sun, an autistic man obsessed with finding a means of ending his life but who never succeeds in carrying it out, has to put his plans of suicide on hold once again when Uncle Mok, the owner of a coffee shop and little library called Tiny Butterfly, dies suddenly in the street right before his eyes. He isn't alone, though. Yaimai, a financial planner who likes one-night stands, and Tor, a sixteen-year-old runaway, also happened to bear witness. Together, the three strangers give their account to the police and arrange the kinless man's funeral.

"Anyone? There is ......" A mysterious message from Gao Haojun comes from ten thousand meters in the air. A five-star A380 ultra-luxury airliner was hijacked on its international maiden voyage, and international security expert Gao Haojun stood up to a group of thugs, his daughter Xiaojun was trapped in the cabin, and Mike, the leader of the hijackers, threatened the lives of more than 800 people in the plane as a bargaining chip, and Xiaojun's mother, Fu Yuan, was also in danger. ......
